| Yes to the uninstall/reinstall of M05. That should work fine. Others have done similar without problems. When you say you have a backup, I'm guessing it's one of: [your filename].MNY file saved at the time and never upgraded. Just open it with M05. [your filename].MBF file made by M05. Don't "import" but do "restore" it with M05. [your filename].M14 file made when M06 upgraded your M05 data file. Rename it [your filename].MNY and just open it with M05. | I do have a backup that has not been upgraded. So if I use that what would be the best way to do it? Shall I uninstall M06 and then install M05 and import the file? I don't want elements of M06 interfering with anything Thanks "Dick Watson" wrote: - quote - > There is no easy way to get an M06 file into M05. | There is no easy way to get an M06 file into M05. You would have to use M06 to export each account to QIF format then import those into M05. Very messy and lots of data (account numbers, budget, loan accounts, bills, etc.) will be lost. An M04 file will upgrade directly. | In an earlier post I stated that my bank can no longer support M06 and above with downloaded transactions. M06 will not import these. What would be the best/safest way to : 1. unistall M06 2, install M05 3.import M06 file, OR import an earlier M04 file. Thanks for yourhelp |
