| I had a very similar problem after installing XP sp2. None of my online accounts would update even after I turned off Windows firewall. I tried the SSL 2.0 - didnt work I added all of the suggested trusted sites and unchecked authentication - all accounts updated. Thankyou Cal. | Thanks a bunch Cal. That actually helped a bit. I was able to get transactions for some accounts downloaded. Others were still unsuccessful. Do you know if there is a list of supported banks and credit card institutions somewhere? Thanks. You might try toggling the "Automatically detect settings"> May have ran IE 7 Beta, but not sure. In the trusted sites list I would add these: moneycentral.msn.com fdl.microsoft.com passport.com passport.net login.live.com g.msn.com money:// - quote - > Thanks. > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Refresher wrote: > > > > Hi, I have been a Money customer since 2000 or so. | Never ran Norton. May have ran IE 7 Beta, but not sure. I know I ran it on my desktop computer, but not sure about my laptop which is where I am running Money 2007. I did, however, get the Money file that I am using off of my desktop and copied it to my laptop. What is the workaround *if* one were to have run IE7 Beta? Thanks. | Hi, I have been a Money customer since 2000 or so. I have recently upgraded to 2007 from 2006, and ugraded my money file in conjunction. I cannot update my online accounts anymore. When I read the call summary messages I usually get: Your account information is being updated, which may take a few minutes. If this message appears for more than five minutes, try again. Sometimes I get: "Update Unsuccessful", or the real fun one which says "Update in Progress", which stays even after I close and re-open Money This is for all 10+ of my accounts (banking, credit, etc.), all of which used to work fine in getting my up-to-date data automatically, so I cannot believe that all my accounts have been disabled somehow from online updates. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks. |
