only downside is that a subsequent download will bring down the original
single transaction.

Thanks for the help.

Is there there a reason I shouldn't delete the single transaction and then
create 3 separate transactions for each loan with the same check number?

I can't think of how it might cause a problem later on but I welcome anyones
input.

Thanks again.
Dean

That is the one I use most often but now that I use bill pay I simply
send 3 "checks".

IF the question you didn't ask, but meant to, was "is there a way around
this?" The answer is not a good one. The only not-so-good one that comes to
mind is an intermediate account. This will make the three transactions you
don't want into four.

Default single payment w/split to multiple loans

I made a single payment to a bank for 3 different loans. When I go to split
the categories and apply the payment to the loans loans are not available in
the split view.

Thanks Dean
