| Mark you are a GENIOUS! I changed my LAN settings and Money is now working online again. Jeez I HATE it when programs change settings without so much as a by your leave. Thank you again for being so amazingly observant. Foxy Mark wrote: - quote - > Microsoft has a file you can download that supposedly removes all instances > of IE7. | Microsoft has a file you can download that supposedly removes all instances of IE7. I called IE7 support and ran that file. It still didn't work! I then happened on the Internet Connection and noticed nothing was checked (right click the IE6 icon, the the Connections Tab, and finally the LAN Settings). I checked Automatically Detect Settings and then it worked. I'll wait until the final version of IE7 comes out and make sure it's compatible with Money! | Yes, the toolbar icon in Money to go online is the IE7 icon - although IE7 is uninstalled Money seems to think I am using IE7. Money (2005 in my case) will not allow me to work online. IE7 has changed some setting - what is it? HELP Mark wrote: - quote - > I installed IE7 RC1. | I installed IE7 RC1. When I try to sign on online, I immediately get a message telling me my signon cannot be verified and to check my internet connection. (See my earlier posts for details). I uninstalled IE7 and still had the same problem. I then uninstalled Money, ran Registry Mechanic to get rid of anything IE7, reinstalled Money, and STILL have the problem! I also tried signing on to the money website as suggested eslwhere, and that did nothing. Note also I can go to websites from within Money with no problem - IE7 or IE6. Note the toolbar icon in Money to go online is still the IE7 icon. Somehow Money must still think I'm using IE7????? Help!!!! |
