OK. That eliminates one of the potential causes of conversionfailure. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message > news:0tu8i2dfk6snrh316nqk31aqrd9ifph9ub[at]4ax.com... > > In microsoft.public.money, John Bowden wrote: > > > > Yes, you are correct, this is a money file from Canada. | Yes, you are correct, this is a money file from Canada. I have tried both downloads and still no conversion. I guess I need to find a Canadian verison of 2004 or 2005? | I have a friend that has Money 99 and purchased the new Money 2006 but after loading the software, it couldn't read the data file. I checked the internet and then here and found that there was an upgrade method to go from 99 to 2005 and then upgrade to 2006. This is the link that I followed but we were still unsuccessful in converting it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913108/en-us I then tried the work around in which I downloaded version 2004 and then tried the upgrade. Still no luck. It keeps coming back and telling us that it can't convert the file. Of course, they don't have the original 99 disk so I'm sure that is going to be a problem... Any ideas? Thanks in advance |
