Same problem here: checked all settings, updates should occur daily.

In Money 2004 this setting meant that as soon as I started Money, it
started the background updates,
In 2007 no matter what setting I have, I still have to click Update
now. This is anything but automatic background download.

I think I might have the same issue. I am using Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe.
I have instructed Money to update my transactions "Every Day". This morning
I just opened up Microsoft Money for the first time in a week. When I click
on "Update Now..." to view the "Review Update Results" it shows the last
successful call to my banks has having occurred LAST WEEK! If Money is
supposed to automatically call and update every day like I asked it to, then
I would expect the "Your call was successful: _____" date to be yesterday!
The only way I can get the updates from the current week is to do a manual
update.

Perhaps somebody would know something about downloads from your
bank.

Until I tried the trial version of Money Deluxe 2007, I have been using
Money 2004. M2004 automatically downloaded transactions from my bank. With
M2007, I have to manually download them. Thank you for any thoughts about
how to solve this problem.
