If you have a choice of downloading in QIF format or OFX format,
make sure to pick OFX. If you're getting duplicate accounts
with OFX, then it's very definately a problem with the Financial
Institution (FI). The reason is that OFX assigns a unique ID to
each transaction. Money recognizes this ID and will not present
you with new transactions that you already have. Unfortunately,
QIF does not have this transaction ID and hence money has to guess
as to whether or not a transaction is unique.

If you're getting duplicate transaction IDs with OFX, it means
your FI is providing more than one transaction ID for the same
transaction.

I suspect the problem is that you're using QIF. Switch (if possible)
to OFX and the problem should go away. If you can't switch, then
there's no solution.

Is this an OFX or QIF download? What version of Money are you
running?

Hi - can you help ?

I bank with Alliance & Leicester, their web-site only allows you to
dowbnload entire month's worth of statement info. If you want to download a
statement more than once a month, Money sees suplicate entries which need to
be manually deleted - very frustrating !

Any ideas ?
