You deleted *the* entry? I assume you downloaded something you did> changed its ticker name. I deleted the entry and started entering the data > from the beginning. not like. Normally you should be able to change the ticker symbol of a stock. If the broker sends you a RemoveShares of "Acme Corp" and an "Acme Corp New", it could be tricky to get thing right. - quote - > My first entry was the buying info (date Feb 8, 2006, 500
I wonder if there might not be two similarly-named stocks defined> units). That was OK. Then, I tried to enter the selling info (date April 18, > 2006, 100 units). To my surprise I get an error message: > "Please enter an amount of "name of the company" to sell that is not more > than the amount you have in this account on this date". now. I would right-click that Buy transaction and choose GoToInvestment. Then click InvestmentActivitities on the left. You will see the list of transactions for that stock. You can click New at the bottom and be confident that the Sell you create there will be for the same stock. - quote - > Does anybody has any suggestions how to solve this problem? > Thank you |

| I have Microsoft Money 2005 Premium, version 14.0.125.1105. One of my stocks changed its ticker name. I deleted the entry and started entering the data from the beginning. My first entry was the buying info (date Feb 8, 2006, 500 units). That was OK. Then, I tried to enter the selling info (date April 18, 2006, 100 units). Does anybody has any suggestions how to solve this problem? Thank you |
