| 14 or 15 versions after classification was introduced, the answer is still no in M07. | Thanks Jason, It is really not obvious the spot there but, even then, I canÂīt imagine how I didnÂīt just try clicking ![]() HavenÂīt tried M07 yet. | You have to be using the 'Advanced' rather than 'Essential' registar, I beleive. Further, you have to have created some custom classification on the page for 'Categories and Payees'. If you have done both of those things, then it is possible to enter separate classifications for different splits on the split dialog screen. You enter them right under where the Payee name goes. It's not obvious that there's a spot for it till you click on it, but it's there. Don't know about a good solution for 'find/replace' for classifications... and have also wanted one for a long time. It's small consolation, but you can rename entire Classifications or subclassifications again under the'Categories and Payess' page, and at least you can search based on classification in the advanced search window. | I canÂīt seem to find a way to use classifications in split transactions. Is that really so or am I missing something? Another classification related functionality that I miss is using find/replace to change the classification of many transactions at one pass. If anyone knows a way around these I would appreciate to know or if it is in M07 please tell me. |
