I think you misunderstood, or they explained the situation incorrectly. It
costs a financial institution money to offer MS Money Direct-Connect to their
customers. It costs more money to offer Direct-Connect with BillPay. 'Money
stopped supporting them because they didn't charge' would probably be more
accurately stated as "USAA decided it did not want to pass the cost of offering
this service along to it's customers, and could not absorb the cost itself"...

Be aware that doing so does (or did) create an additional account for MSN
Bill Pay. It may be possible to merge them. If the USAA account already is
enabled for online downloads, you won't be able to merge the BillPay
account to the USAA account.

Dean,

USAA supports direct downloads into Money. However, I believe you
can't pay bills within Money using USAA's service.

If you haven't done so already, setup your USAA account within Money.
Then, go to Manage Online Services and it will tell you which services
USAA offers.

If it doesn't offer bill pay and you'd still like to pay bills within
Money without going to USAA's website, you could always sign up with
MSN Bill Pay and pay out of a USAA checking account.

Regards,
JB

Default Online bill pay

I use Money Premium 2007 and wanted to use my bank's (USAA) bill payment
service through Money but I only see CheckFree and MSN Bill Pay as online
bill payment providers. The Help says that when you add a bank account that
if it offers bill pay that it will automatically be added. So I called my
bank to see if they offer support with Money. They said they used to BUT
MONEY stopped supporting them because USAA didn't charge for the online bill
pay services.

Now, my bank's online bill pay is powered by CheckFree. Is there anyway to
get around and add my bank's bill pay through CheckFree?
