Default Re: 2004 Stock Updates Expired?

Nothing out of the ordinary - just a dividend reinvestment on 9/1 (that would have been entered a week later when I received the statement). No name or symbol changes, no account maintenance. Guess it was just a hiccup.

Anything distinctive about the one stock that was causing the problem?

Thanks Cal -

Checked the UAL - I am in fact using 2004 Deluxe - with a services expiration of 9/1/2007
Checked the last update date - everything showed 9/1/06
Verified all symbols were correct - no problems found
Removed all stocks from the list to update, and started adding them back in smaller groups
Able to determine the 1 stock was preventing the entire list to update
Performed file rebuild, did not indicate any problems were repaired - but the troublesome stock now updates, as do they all

Problem solved!

Go to the Portfolio view, and
ChangePortfolioView-> CustomizeCurrentView-> PortfolioColumns

Add in the LastUpdated column. Group by: NoHeaders.

Click the LastUpdated column header to sort. Note the symbols for
the securities with symbols the earliest or no dates.

Go to UpdatePrices-> PickQuotesToDownload and de-select those
securities.

UpdatePrices online. If still no joy, de-select almost all of your
securities, and try again. If you have success, add securities
back until you have a problem again.

Check those that do not work to see if the symbol might have
changed or no longer be valid

Have a look at your EULA. If you have Standard version it is 2 years from 1st install or 1st Sept 2006.
