If you do not fully understand this, I would suggest you first read about how it works. It is rather complicated for someone who is not financially oriented. Hopefully you do understand. Second, if you understand the details of the transaction you CAN enter this information manually in Money just as I do. I do not rely on any download of data from Fidelity to Money because the data may not wind up where it should in Money. Fortunately I do understand how these distributions work. For users who don't understand and just rely on "automatic" downloads of data into Money, then possible problems can occur. I cannot say if your problem is caused by Money not correctly reflecting what Fidelity is sending because it is set-up incorrectly or if there is a transmission problem. Perhaps others can help. | A lot of funds went Ex-dividend on Friday Fidelity Dividend Growth: Distribution Schedule Dividends:September, December Capital Gains:September, December. Download your info again / go online to Fidelity.com and login to see your balance. I suspect that you had x shares of each on 8/31 Then on 9/9 you recieved a cap gain and income distribution on those shares and reinvested each of them ( the 4 transactions) Bobb "jpasmith" <jpasmith[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3E649F67-BF79-439A-9A9B-E9D4DB1D5702[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Help! | Help! I have just started using Money and I have a problem. I have 2 401k accounts with Fidelity and the transactions Money lists don't match the Fidelity website statement. Everything in Money matches perfectly except for 9/9, where there are 4 transactions that don't appear on the Fidelity statement. The first 2 transactions are "Fidelity Divd Growth" and "Fidelity Mid-Cap Stk", and both are "Remove Shares", and it appears that every single share is removed. The next 2 transactions, for the same date, are "FID DIVIDEND GROWTH" and "FID MID CAP STOCK", and both of those are "Add Shares". The # of shares here is almost, but not exactly, the same as the number of shares removed in the 1st two transactions. And furthermore, no price is listed for any of these transactions, so under "Total", I see "0.00". Any ideas out there???? |
