| I think the issue may be that for downloaded transactions, if the download matches a scheduled bill, it puts the scheduled bill in the register even if not configured for automatic post. I don't think it's actually recording it unless you Accept. If you change and disassociate, the schedule bill is not process or recorded. I've observed similar functionality but didn't spend much time on analysis because it usually works for me. Sometimes the dates are off. I just cancel the match and it goes away. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:nu1jg2939ok6l54vccchins26e2njsl7nb[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Indiana Jones <Indiana > Jones[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: > > When I try to balance my checking account, it shows items that appear to > > be > > from my budget and tries to match them with the actual expenditure, but > > they > > never are close. | When I try to balance my checking account, it shows items that appear to be from my budget and tries to match them with the actual expenditure, but they never are close. Usually they are 2 months apart. When I click on the item to open it and revise, it also defaults to the budgeted data, rather than the actual data. Is there a way to turn off budgets so they don't appear in my check book register at all? |
