i am not interested in software updates. as long as i can get quotes and
existing bank transactions i would be happy. i will take a look at the eula.
however, why would a basic function be discontinued? is this the way ms makes
you update to a newer version?

a certain number of years after purchase or after a certain drop-dead stop
date. That date depends on the version you bought.

the online quotes updates in no longer working. it does not even show up
when i right click from the portfolio view. only manual updates shows up. i
tried connecting to one of the credit card accounts and it worked fine and
downloaded all thc curent transactions. my broker accounts did not seem to
dowlonad either. any ideas on why these both seem to stop working?
