Thanks for the suggestion, but I always close using File-Exit. Just> the window. > -- > Michael Gordon > MVP got in the habit of doing things that way. Doesn't seem to matter on my machine for this problem. It's not causing any problem as far as I can see - just wonder why it's happening. Jim |

Not sure but I think it happens if I've run money once - shut it down and then run it again on the same day to make some other entries I'd forgotten about the first time etc. Anyway I haven't seen any ill effects from it so far. Thanks again. Jim |

| People saw this a lot with M06. (You don't mention version you are running--this is almost always pertinent information here in the newsgroup.) I've seen it once with M07--almost 24 hours later it was still running. Nobody but Microsoft knows exactly what it's busy doing. Killing it from task manager seems benign, but YMMV. | Hi Everyone, When I shut down my computer I sometimes get a message that the Money Scheduler is still running and needs to be shut down etc.- with the warning about losing data. I suspect this has to do with the background banking feature. It doesn't happen with every shut down, but is starting to happen often enough that I'm wondering if something is wrong. Anyone else seeing this? Thanks Jim |
