If you switch from Quicken to Money, Bank of America requires you make the
change through their web site, it takes 24 hours. Then you are able to
direct connect. Still working out the bill payment thing.

Bryan,
Why in the world would you want to use Money if you are
happy with Quicken? Also, do you realize there is a learning curve
involved? I have never used Quicken, and although I'm sure it could do
most of what I need, after 11 years with Money, I'd be a fool to switch
now. My advise is go back to Quicken and be happy. Steve

Unless you're accounts with BOA are in CA, WA or ID you can click on
the following link to enroll in BOA's Online Banking through Microsoft
Money service (I would expect you had to perform a similar enrollment
as well for Quicken):

Yes.

You don't need a WindowsLive sign-on to use BOA's Online Banking
through Microsoft Money service.

Does BofA support a direct connection with money? It sounds like it
does with quicken. If it offer this for money as well as quicken, you
can pay bills from inside money the same as you were doing with
quicken. The bank will have to provide you with all the sign in
information for their Internet banking etc. as I sure they did for
quicken.

Default Bill Pay through MS Money 2007

I'm trialing the software and have successfully connected to a couple of my
financial institutions.. I'm a Quicken user and have been accustomed to
paying bills directly through Quicken using Bank Of America's online bill
payment ( I select "send" and enter the bill info and then connect and it
sends instructions to BofA to make the payment).

I have spent the past 3 hours setting up MS Money and trolling through
help (which I find grossly inferior to Quicken) and various online
resources including BofA's online with MS Money FAQ and Microsoft's
marketing-hyperfluffed(and annoying) online product information...

I am unable to figure out if I can A) Connect to BofA directly and B)pay
bills from MS Money as I have been doing with Quicken.. My online user ID
and password are failing with MS Money so I can't get my accounts setup for
online services at the moment..

I am not interested in downloading active statments, or qfx, or qif, or any
other file that I have to manually import into the product to get my
transactions.. I want a seemless experience as I am used to with Quicken..

Is it possible to pay bills directly through MS Money as I have been doing
with Quicken using my bank's online bill payment services ? The only bill
payment services MSMoney reports available are Checkfree and MSN Bill Pay
(which I am not interested in any subscription service).

I am not using, and do not plan to use the Windows live sign-on...

Thanks
Bryan
