Default Re: Money 2005, all of a sudden my bank isn't listed

Hi Michael,

Yes, it was version 2005 . I hope this explains it further.

I've just posted another subject RE: Yodlee??. I just spoke with someone
from MS and not happy with my reply.

I cannot download statements from PNC bank any longer. Money used Yodlee
the 3rd party provider to get these statements. I was gettting that red
triangle in the upper right hand corner yesterday and noticed my manually
input checks disappeared. (that's when I tried opening a backup file).
Then I got an error it couldn't synchronize with Money website.

So one option was to set up a new account with PNC (it's listed as one of
banks). Now a box comes up stating "currently PNC bank does not provide
online updates to Money". clicking okay the screen then says. "This bank
or brokerage doesn't provide online updates to Money. You can still set up
your account in Money, and you can update it by typing in your transactions
or, in many cases, by importing information from the bank or brokerage's
website. To continue setting up the account, click an account type."

What? It used to be compatible, one day ago with Yodlee.

So the tech at MS said as of Aug 24th, it no longer works with PNC bank.
Guess I was lucky to get another week out of it. Huh??? I'm still quite
confused as to why this happened and not quite satisfied with the techs
help.

To further explain, please read my post "Yodlee? Do they still work with
MS?"

thanks perhaps you can help.

Carole

I think we need more information, Carole:
1. What version of Money are you using?
2. If you say that your bank "has never supported Money" and doesn't have
downloadable statements, then what precisely happened when you "connected"?
3, What do you mean by "connecting" to your bank?

Default Money 2005, all of a sudden my bank isn't listed

The program was working fine for over a year. So yesterday all of a sudden
my manual additions disappear. So I use a back up file.

Then it can't connect to my bank. I reopen the original file and I get an
error message that it cannot synchronize my file. It gives me an option and
I choose the one to keep working with the file and delete that on the web.

Now when I go to update, my bank isn't listed. So I go to account
tools/manage online services and when I try to setup online services, my
bank is no longer listed.

So I create a new account. Check for new online services... again it's not
listed.

I know my bank has never supported Money, and although it never truly
matched my manual entries, I've learned to live with it. But how do I get
it to connect to my bank again via the internet? This bank PNC does not
have downloadable statements... it only truly works with Quicken... but it
WAS working yesterday.

Please help! I've been a Money user since it first came out.

TIA,
Carole
