I've hit a report glitch that I can't understand...

I am running an "Account Transactions" report in money, and setting some
custom parameters. I'm giving it a specific custom date range, then run the
report, and all is fine. I sort by date in ascending order (later dates to
the bottom of the report).

When I go to the "Customize Report" window and select "show splits" under
the Row & Columns tab, and apply that change, the report resorts by date in
descending order, with the latest date to the top! I can toggle the sort
function on the date header, but it does not allow me to sort the report with
earliest date first. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

You can use checkboxes in the Rows&Columns tab to choose what is
included, but I don't think you can reorder the columns. You can

Try them. Click Apply to see the change without having to close the
Customize window. However when Automatic is chosen on the Font tab,
you can drag the column heading edges to adjust the widths.

Two Questions about reports in Money 2007:

1:
In the help files for Money 07, it says "If you are using Advanced Reports,
you can customize such items as: ..... Layout (including rows and columns)"

I assumed this meant that in a custom transaction report I could move the
column layout to be in any order I want, however, I can't find a way to do
this. Am I missing something, or is the Layout feature simply referring to
whether or not to include certain categories in a customized report?

In the "Customize Reports" window, under the "Text" tab, there is a "Report
Column Widths" pop up menu with the following menu choices: Automatic;
Narrow; Standard; Wide; Extra Wide; and Custom. What are the parameters for
those column widths?
