It makes me wonder what the purpose of that article is. Make extra backups before proceeding. If you want to remove the Windows Live ID from a file you may have to turn off background banking at [M07]Tools-> Settings-> ReceiveAccountUpdatesFromMSNMoneyMyAccounts and then at File-> PasswordManager you can choose to remove your WindowsLiveID. To remove a conventional password, see File-> PasswordManager. You could then put your new Windows Live ID back on the file if you like. - quote - > -- > Thanks, > Sam > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Sam wrote: > > > > > > > > I'm using Money 2007 Premium. | Cal, Thank you for your response. I apologize for not making my point clearly. I've already changed the email address in my passport login. My problem is that my MS Money 2007 remembers the old email address for login and keeps prompting it everytime i start the program. So I end up typing my email address all over again everytime I want to open up my Money file. My question is how to I remove the old email login from Money file? -- Thanks, Sam "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Sam wrote: > > > > I'm using Money 2007 Premium. | Hi, I'm using Money 2007 Premium. I recently changed my passport login email address. Money remembers my old email login. Even though I type the new one to login, it always promts the old email. How do I make Money remember my new passport login email? To further clarify, I'm not talking about the password. It's the email address I'm talking about. -- Thanks, Sam |
