The funds take longer to reach the payee, by several days. Transactions entered in the evening were not processed until the close of the next business day, delaying processing even more. I had one payment that did not reach the payee when using TD Banknorth. My options were to stop payment for $25; wait six months and they would credit the funds; or issue a new check and negotiate with the payee to throw out the original if they eventually received it. With CheckFree, I can call them 24/7 and they handle the problem with no charge to me. So far as integrating with Money, I select the update option within Money, and my TD Banknorth (as well as my other) accounts all get downloaded automatically. The ONLY thing I cannot do from within Money is to transfer funds between my several TD Banknorth accounts. So I go the web site for that. --ron |

Also, if Citibank changed the website, it could take a while for the new scheme to be accessed for you. In the case of Citibank that might be a shorter interval than for some banks with fewer users. But the fact that it seems direct for you is good. |

| Citi Cards refer to the credit cards. Citibank is the online bank. So are you saying that because Citibank is 3rd party, you cannot download checking/savings accounts directly into money from this bank? Or do you mean that you cannot set up a Citibank checking account in MS Money to pay bills from within Money because it is 3rd party bank? I have never noticed differences between my Direct Services Credit Union (NOT 3rd party) and Citibank. What is it about the 3rd party service that makes the difference? Citibank and Citi Cards have always worked from within Money for me. What is it that Citibank won't do that a bank that is not 3rd party will do? The credit cards do. However Citibank only provides a website thebank side. Money can have a third party check that website for you, and provide the data to Money.
