| David, If Cal's suggestion doesn't do it ... I'll just ask: are you updating the prices on a weeknight and viewing on the same day ? For example: update Tuesday night and view it on Tuesday night . Also, if you update on weekends/holidays - today's change is always empty in M2006 ( no daily price for " TODAY") There were SOME improvements in M2006 from my M2004 , but this is one that aggravates me: that I can't see the actual info for a certain date. So if I DO update daily ( I do), on Thrusday I cannot select the previous day's date in the dropdown and have it show me that's day's gain/loss. Apparenlty, some MS marketing guy wants "today's change" to be done only by the online server so after 3 years you have to buy a new frigging copy. So I still have a PC running M2004 to show me the change column ( by messing with the PC date, THEN starting Money, the "today's change" column is updated.). | I am still using Money Premium 2006. I would like to know if the following problem (feature?) is observed by other folks, either in M2006 or M2007. The Portfolio Manager has columns "Change" and "TotChng." The former is the change in price, per share, of a security for one day. The latter is, roughly speaking, "Change" multiplied by the number of shares held. I don't remember which of these columns is visible by default. I have chosen to view create of these columns in the "custom" view of my Portfolio Manager. My problem is that for mutual funds, the value reported in the "TotChng" column is always blank. Not zero, just a blank space. Thank you in advance for any observations (or fixes!) for this problem. -- David Arnstein arnstein+usenet[at]pobox.com |
