| Are you using Advanced Register/Advanced Bills? What is the exact category of the "payment"? Is it Transfer : [name of account]? (Good) Is it Credit Card Payment : [name of account]? (Acceptable but less normative) Is it Credit Card Payments/Transfers? (Very bad) If the latter, that's a Microsoft way to cause great confusion. See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=167 and its linked q/a http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=53. Typing the "to" account in where doesn't work? Are you using DRP? We need to solve one problem at a time. Your issue that the recurring Transfer causes the balance to go "negative" (Money register view) / "positive" (accounting view) / credit balance eventually is a separate problem that can be solved any of several ways. I'm not clear why you though doing anything besides the recurring Transfer--which showed up in Cash Flow--would solve anything regarding this second problem. | I do have Display scheduled bills and deposits checked in Cash Flow Settings. I think the problem is when I create a new reoccuring bill, it doesn't allow me to specify which Credit Card Account I am Paying To, only which Account I am Paying From. I tried creating a new reoccuring transfer and it showed up in the Cash Flow Forecast but that is not what I want to do for Credit Card Payments since it'll eventually turn my Credit Card Balance to a positive amount instead of stopping at $0. So I guess my question would be, Is there a way to specify the Credit Card Account when creating a reoccuring bill? (Manually typing it into the "Pay to:" field doesn't seem to work). | The cash flow settings is set to display scheduled bills and deposits. I think the problem is that when I create a new reoccuring bill, it doesn't allow me to specify which credit card account I am paying to, just which account I am paying from. I tried setting up a reoccuring transfer and it seems to show up in cash flow forecast but that is not what I want for credit card payments since it'll eventually turn my credit card balance to a positive balance instead of stopping the payment when the balance reaches $0. So I guess my question is, is there a way to specify the Credit Card Account that I'm Paying To? (Typing it in doesn't work) "Dick Watson" wrote: - quote - > Check your settings in Forecast Cash Flow Change cash flow settings... to > make sure it's set to display scheduled bills. > "Vital" <Vital[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:9D0EC012-8ED1-4783-A22A-978EA56996F3[at]microsoft.com... > > When I add a reoccuring bill for a credit card, the cash flow forecast > > doesn't seem to recognize that there is a reoccuring bill and the cashflow > > graph is just a straight line throughout the 12-month forecast for that > > credit card. | Check your settings in Forecast Cash Flow Change cash flow settings... to make sure it's set to display scheduled bills. | When I add a reoccuring bill for a credit card, the cash flow forecast doesn't seem to recognize that there is a reoccuring bill and the cashflow graph is just a straight line throughout the 12-month forecast for that credit card. Is this a glitch? |
