Bryan, try File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair.

(Later) I was able to convert a Quicken 2003 file with
reasonable accuracy, but my Quicken 2004 file won't
convert.

I've tried to import my Quicken 2004 data into the Money
2004 Trial, but all the account balances come up as zero.
Will Money 2004 convert from Quicken 2004?
