Oh well... It worked this morning. This was the longest that Discover has
been down. I do this every morning and over the past 4 years Discover hasn't
had any major issues. Thanks for all your input!

Just worked fine for me, but I hadn't updated in 2 weeks so don't know
if there would have been a problem for me.

Money 2005.

Has anyone had any issues with Discover Card recently using the "update now"
function? I have had 2 separate data files setup in Money since the 2003
version. I have been on 2006 for about 3 or 4 months now. I have never had
any major issues with Discover Card transactions updating. At times one data
file would update and the other wouldn't but it never lasted for more than a
day and it never involved either account NOT updating.

Since last Friday (Aug 18) I have received an OFXHTTP403 error stating that
"The Internet, banking, or brokerage server could not process the request.
Please try your call again later."

I have received this error EVERY time I've tried to update the accounts. At
least 12-15 times since Friday. All other bank, brokerage and credit card
accounts work fine. Discover is the only problem provider.

Same old, same old... Discover sends me to Microsoft, Microsoft sends me to
Discover... The never ending loop! Any suggestions? I suspect that Discover
has changed something but they aren't accepting responsibility.

I just received my reply from Discover Card. See below--

Thank you for your recent message regarding Microsoft(R) Money. We are aware of the current issue with downloading transactions into Money and we are working towards a solution. At this time we do not have an exact time for repair, but we estimate that you should be able to download by later this week.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me again. Thank you for choosing to use Discover Card.

Sincerely,

Discover Card Web Support

I just started having the same problem this weekend too - guess I'm not
alone on this one. Not that I expect any immediate resolution, but
I'll submit online support requests to both Microsoft and Discover Card
online.

I have the same problem here- I get the error:
"The internet banking or brokeraghe server could not process the request.
Please try later (OFXHTTP403)"
Up until now, I've been able to update ok with no problem. I haven't
updated since Aug 6, sdo something happened between then and now. Nothing
changed in my Money config however.
I'm using Money 2006 Deluxe

I am having the same problem with Money 2001. I thought it was because I
changed my online password and called Discover. The person was of no help and
kept telling me to update from within Money. I think you might be right about
Discover changing something.
