program lock up/ time-out/ not responding

For speed improvement, you might consider deleting the bills on a
copy of your file. File-> RepairMoneyFile-> DeleteAllBillsData.

Take note of the information that you get when you first do that. Do
the things it suggests if you want to restore bills afterwards. Then
return to File-> RepairMoneyFile-> DeleteAllBillsData.

Don't know if this will help, but I just installed the M2007 trial after

archived everything up until ~14 mos ago then did a standard repair on the
file. I had been getting consistent hangs when matching/unmatching
transactions (hitting Done). Each time I would have to kill M2007 from Task
Manager. Now it's a hair slower going into match/umatch, but it comes out
without issue. I'm also going to try Repair then Archive to see if I get the
same performance gain.

Each time when I run money, the program hangs for several (5-6) minutes
usually. Eventually it does open but it can simply time out and close itself.
When I try to use the task manager it will ALWAYS state that the 'program is
not responding'. I have used different video settings but it always does
this even when I just work offline. I do have a 1.5 mbps DSL/cable gateway
which I have used for years with money 2005 quite well. Any one with an
inkling of a clue as to what I am doing wrong PS: xpsp2w/all updates. This
problem is unique to this program-Doom 3 runs OK. Thanks
