| FYI, I first did method 1 and this didn't do anything (as it seemed) and then started method 3. The problem came when I got to step 5 because the bad transactions are in an account that doesn't have the problem. Since the tranactions where in this GOOD account I didn't want to be doing the rest of the steps with this account as I thought it more pertained to the other BAD account. Well I decided since the tranactions were void in the good account and zero value but contained value in the bad account I would delete them. This can only be done from the good account but then again doesn't matter they are zero value. I didn't know what to do after this point and was worried about going further. So I looked at them and everything started to look good. So I did a balance and all appears to be well and I have not proceeded to step 6. All appears to be well. Please let me know if I should proceed to step 6. If not thank you so much for your help! | This happens exactly and goes back to being off if I go back to "all dates" "all trans". Thank you for the help I will look at the article and update if this helps me out. | Ok I have something weird. I tried balancing my Credit Card and it kept saying the starting balance was incorrect. Throwing off by $110 the account list balance is greater than the register balance by 110 which doesn't make any sense. I have located the bad transactions in my bank account. They were two transactions using billpay one for 80 and the other for 30 that are VOID. The thing is I have not had any problems balancing this account. So my question is how do I fix these transactions so that they stop screwing with the credit card? Should I just delete them? Deleting them does not work. Now what? I do have a backup. I have restored the backup I created just before deleting the transactions. Now I don't know what to do to get my account Register and Account Page balance to match and be correct. ---------------- I have searched the FAQ and help websites for an answer and I can't find anything. Please help. |
