Thanks for that tip, I am a new user and was trying to mark them all
reconciled.

Thanks for your reply. You are right, I don't want to mess with duplicated
postings - that is what got the thing out of balance in the begining.

Thanks for your quick response. As I stated to Mr. Watson, I plan to get a
little neurotic about having my accounts in proper synch from now on.
Nothing like having an equity investment go down the tubes while forgetting
one owned the investment.

Thanks for your quick reply. I made the mistake of 'reconciling' the entire
account in an attempt to get the Account Adjustment amount to equal the
balance in my statement. It did, but requires a $1,042. adjustment for which
I could not find mispostings..

Subsequently, instead of doing the same to another account, I went to my
broker and downloaded all my statements. Since that account had not been
'reconciled' a few nights of diligence and I got that account to balance to
the penny.

This has enboldened me to do the same with the first account.

The only other option I could think of would be to export the account to a
QIF file and then import it back into Money as a new account.
One of the big problems with that is that if you have transfers to other
accounts, then you'll end up with duplicate transactions in those other
accounts after you import the QIF file.

Not really.

You could install and use a keyboard macro that you could use to
repeat (Ctrl+Shift+m,cursorDown) or (Ctrl+Shift+m,cursorUp). But
perhaps there is a different shortcut: Is there any more recent
point where the balance matches your statements? Perhaps you could
just un-reconcile back to that more recent point.

The only combination that's easy is marking a bunch reconciled. That's only
because there's a workaround for that direction. (View only unreconciled.
Got to first transaction and hold down Ctrl+Shift+M until it auto-repeats.
As they mark, they disappear and the next is selected.)

No easy way on unreconcile, though keyboard macro recorders or some such
might help. Ctrl+Shift+M, up arrow, (repeat) is a pretty fast set of strokes
if you have good rhythm for your fingers.

Perhaps it would just be easiest to add an adjusting entry to get back in
balance and mark the bank includes in that balance reconciled and move on?

Default UN-reconcile an entire account.

I have an account I opened in 2001, after I first started using MSMoney.
Over the years I have tried to keep the balance accurate and have not been
able to do so. I upgraded to MSMoney 2007 Premium and I would like to
RE-Balance the entire account to my statements. Is there an easy way to
unmark all the entries as UnRECONCILED?
