Default RE: Microsoft Money 2007 Preferred Payee Names Not Working

I have the same problem with payee name variation automatically changing to
preferred payee names in both entering transaction manually and downloading
credit card transaction. I don't know what to do?

Default Microsoft Money 2007 Preferred Payee Names Not Working

Hello,

I am using MS Money 2007 Premium. Preferred payee names are not working
with downloaded credit card transactions. For example, I have payee name
variation "NEWEGG COMPUTERS" assigned to payee "NewEgg". I downloaded new
credit card transactions today, one was from NEWEGG COMPUTERS. Money did not
change the name to "NewEgg". I edit the transaction and make the payee
NewEgg. Now when look at preferred payee names I see two identical
instances of "NEWEGG COMPUTERS" tied to payee "NewEgg".

I did not have this problem with Money 2006, only cropped up after
installing and using Money 2007.

Please help/advise,

James
