Perhaps http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902466/en-us version of> Anybody? salv.exe is newer than yours. You could run the steps for "Run the Standard File Repair utility in Microsoft Money 2000, in Microsoft Money 2001, in Microsoft Money 2002, or in Microsoft Money 2003" even tho you are running Money 2005. |

| Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I'm still having the problem. When I went under "Home Page Display Options," I didn't have a "Spending Tracker" item to remove. The closest thing was a "Spending by Category" item, and I did remove that (to no avail). The other items that were showing were: Favorite Accounts Reminders Bills & Deposits Favorite Categories What's New in Microsoft Money Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks again for your help. |

| Hi all, When I try to close Money 2005, I get a pop-up window that says, "This operation cannot be performed." When I hit "More Info" on the pop-up, I get the following: --------------------------- Product: Money Event ID: 34 Source: obres Version: 14.0 Symbolic Name: errUnknown Message: This operation cannot be performed. Explanation: Usually caused by a corrupt file. User Action: Run the Money Repair tool to fix the problem. --------------------------- I ran the Money Repair tool, but it didn't work. Also, when I get this message, Money never really closes--it stays active in the background. Thus, when I want to re-open Money, I have to first manually close it through the task manager (via ctrl-alt-del). I use Windows XP. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help. |
