Update:
My Discover card update seems to be working now. Must have been a
temporary problem. Thanks!

I have not looked. I figure it will start working again.
I get a 403 (OFXHTTP403) error.

https://www.discovercard.com/discover/data/home.shtml

I just checked the web site and logged in.. I don't see a way to
manually download in the interim. They have been pretty reliable in
the past, so I expect this is something they will get working soon.

Cal,
Interesting. Perhaps there is a problem on the Discover end. As of
this morning my other accounts were still working. I do get the same
(or similiar) message when trying to setup the account directly on MSN.
I don't know if that tells us anything or not.

Have you found a way to download the transaction data from the Discover
site? I can do that from one of my other account; but I can't seem to
figure out how to accomplish it in Discover. That would at least get
me going until we figure this out.

Discover statements is down for me now too. On the morning of
08/17/06 I had tried previously, and it worked then.

Anna,

I'm having the same problem w/ Discover. I had it working correctly on
Saturday (when I
purchased Money07) but it stopped working on Sunday (telling me that I
didn't have
an active account). So I tried deleting the account from both Money
and MSN.
I then recreated the account in Money and it just gives me the "The
Internet Banking or
Brokerage Server could not process the request. Try again later."
message.

I can logon to Discover w/out a problem. This is driving me crazy.

I've given up on MBNA and Sams - I did have the same problem with Discover
for a while but kept at it again and again and finally established the link
with them. I don't know, maybe it would be easier to scrap Microsoft's Money
and just deal with Yodlee?

I'm having the same problem with MBNA and Discover. I also logged into
Yodlee and am successful in connecting with my accounts from there.
However, my M07 does not seem to be able to update these accounts with
Yodlee. I have stopped Online services for these accounts and
re-enabled several times, but the Call Summary states that there is a
technical problem with my bank (MBNA) and now I can't reenable online
services.

Discover is stating "The Internet Banking or Brokerage Server could not
process the request. Try again later." So I disabled online services
and tried to set them up again and NOW I am being told "by Money" that
I do not have any ACTIVE online accounts at this bank! Well, I wish
that were true, but I do have an active account.

Yodlee didn't have a problem accessing my accounts, so it must be with
M07. I played around with this today but did not have any luck with
any thing I tried. These accounts are not my main accounts and I can
live without the downloads, but IT IS SURE IS GETTING ANNOYING!

Default Re: Sync'ing with the thrid parties...

I've set up my account with Yodlee and added the two problem accounts I can't
auto update in Money. But now what? I'm lost! and I'm not very
techie-literate. I used to auto update these two accounts until the past
year when they went to 3rd party. I can go into Money and do a manual update
for them, but.......
HELP! any assistance greatly appreciated.

I've created an account with Yodlee for my two problem accounts - MBNA and
Sam's CC. But I'm lost now. I need to make Microsoft Money talk to either
Yodlee or the two problem accounts. What do I do next?

I did find the support folks... And worked through the whole deal. The
support folks claim that the issue is curruption within my passport account
and that there's nothing they can do about it. They say my only option is
to use a new passport (Windows Live ID).

Meanwhile they gave me a url that will reset my MoneyCentral accounts and
clear everything out. So with that and a bit of fiddling on the MS Money
side I was finally able to make it all work... For now... :-s

Thanks for you help.

You could go to the MS Online Support site
(http://support.microsoft.com/selecti...get=assistance) and then
go to Money and select your version to contact Microsoft that way.
They provide free email, chat, or phone support - the website has all
those links and numbers. I believe the phone number for them is
1-866-834-8741 if you go through the steps.

Default Re: Sync'ing with the thrid parties...

Thanks for the info Dan. I was able to get to the Yodlee service and
connect to the bank without a problem. But I still can't figure out how to
get help in getting Money 2007 or MSN Money Central to setup the account. I
also can't seem to find an appropriate support forum from Microsoft (other
than this newsgroup which never seems to get official attention from MS
people) to report or get help with the problem.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

I believe the third party they are talking about is Yodlee - they
provide all the sync data if you use a Passport / Windows Live ID. You
can try registering on their website (it's free) -
https://moneycenter.yodlee.com/money...3D&l=_flowId:u
(this link will probably give you an error but should bring you to a
page where there is a link to register - they hide it really well if
you try to go to their main site).

Once you register with them you can set up your accounts through their
manager and see if the data is importing correctly. If it is not you
can call them with issues or if it is then you know the problem is
probably on the Money side of the equation. I had to do this a while
ago and Yodlee support was pretty helpful - the issue was finally
resolved after about a week or so.

I am having the same problem. I can't get my account from ING Direct.
The first time I try it when I first open the money program up I get
the ING Account screen asking for my customer #, pin, social, zip,
etc... I fill out all the info and it says it doesn't work. I can't
find anything on ms.com or ING's website. All my other accounts work
fine though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Sync'ing with the thrid parties...

I've got a bunch of accounts setup in 2007 - most of 'em are sync'ing just fine. But there are two FIs that are giving me problems. One, for instance is the Credit Union of Denver. They are listed as participating, but through a thrid party provider:

Additional Information and Services

------------------------------------------------
Statements

Direct Services* are the fastest, easiest way to connect with your financial institution and have your statements automatically downloaded into Money.
* This service is provided by a third party provider, not your financial instituition. It is only available if you have Microsoft Money 2005 or later. You will need to use Microsoft .NET Passport in order to access your account information.

All I ever get when trying to setup the accounts with Money is a message saying that accessing the info is tomporarily unavailable. (And then it renames my account back to the default name - annoying, but a separate issue.)

So I called the bank and nobody there really has a clue about what I'm talking about. They just tell me to download the file and import. So how do you troubleshoot this stuff with the thrid party providers? Even trying to set it up online through Money Central - still says that the info can't be accessed or temporarily unavailable...

Any insight as to how to get this stuff working would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
