| Can't touch every transaction that is missing... We're talking about 3 years worth of transactions here. But anyways, I have done a backup, uninstall Money, restarted the machine, reinstall Money and then import and it seems that the problem went away - hopefully, at least for the next 3 years... :-) Thank you all anyways for your replies. | What are your regional settings in Windows? Is the date format DD/MM/YYYY? Maybe it was switching days and months. Are these "non-scheduled" transactions in the Bills area or do you actually see them in the Account register? If in Bills, try manually touching each one (i.e. make a minor edit - in the memo field) and then see if they will remain. -Mark "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message news:03o8e21jbfni37vdn2lgnutq5ipusi4fb9[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Sorin wrote: > > I used Quicken, until 2004 when I switched to MS Money. | I used Quicken, until 2004 when I switched to MS Money. I have imported all accounts and never had a problem until a couple of days ago: Looks like all the transactions after 11/2003 seem to have dissapeared. I restored from backup and everything seemed to work fine, until the next day. The next day I would open Money and the transactions are gone again (except for the scheduled recurring transactions). So after I realized it I have experimented changing the computer date forward and here's what I discovered: when the day changes, all the non-scheduled transactions dissapear. I restore from backup and everything is back to normal. restart Money and it is just fine. Forward the computer date to tomorrow, open Money and all the non-scheduled transactions, after November 2003 are gone again. Close Money (no backup) Change the date back to today's open Money and transactions still missing. Restore from backup and everything is normal again. I cannot do this restore every day. Anybody else came accross this issue? Any idea of what might cause it? Thanks, |
