| I was able to get M2007 working without the R6025 error. Here's what I did: Before uninstalling M2007 I re-registered all the DLLs that the KB article suggested for this error. That did not fix the R6025 error I was having. So I reinstalled M2006 and used my latest backup and it worked fine; not even the R6025 error I had with it before occurred. So, I assume re-registering the DLLs fixed the M2006 problem. To be safe, I also did file repair on the M2006 file. I then installed M2007 and it worked fine after it converted the M2006 data file to its format; no R6025 error at all. | I chatted with support, and after trying several things, she concluded that its corruption in my 2006 data file that is causing the error. The solution, she said, is to export my accounts from M2006 and import them into M2007. I'll lose my bills and budgets in the process. I guess I'm not too confident that's the problem since DLLs can get corrupted, etc. But, no other options at this point. | Thanks for the link, Cal. I registered all of the ones that would register, but it made no difference. If you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate them. I'll also try contacting Money support. | I just installed Money 2007 Premium. The program converted my 2006 data file and now whenever I start the program, it brings up my home page, you can see the internet being accessed, and then I get the R6025 run time error dialogue after about 20 seconds, which then closes the program. This happened before in 2006 after it would do an online update of my account information (it just started after I'd used 2006 for 8 months without that problem), but I could reopen and it would work fine. None of the previous fixes under 2006 ever fixed this problem and I was hoping that 2007 would resove it, but its now worse. I tried logging in for local access only but the problem still occurs. It seems tied to retrieving things over the internet. It may be trying to do an online program update but I'm not sure. I suspect I must have the wrong version of some system file but don't know what one. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks. |
