| Try again. The web site has changed. I was able to attach a credit card in my wife's name to a web access in my name. Once merged on the web site, they're merged for other electronic access. That's my experience, anyway. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL "Mike" <nojunk[at]email.com> wrote in message news:Br_Bg.21$uk2.2[at]mencken.net.nih.gov... - quote - > I think I tried that a few years ago, but they wouldn't let me because > they're under different social security numbers. > Chris Cowles wrote: > > Unless you have specific reasons not to, have you considered > > consolidating the two accounts onto the same login? | This works fine for some other accounts but not this particular one. We have two logins at Chase for different credit cards. I went through the recommended process of choosing "Chase (his)" and "Chase (hers)" for the banks. The first one goes through fine and everything updates properly. For the second one, I answered the additional questions about having a different login. Then after entering the user ID and password, it says "Updating accounts" for a few seconds, then a pop up window says "You don't have any active online accounts with this bank or brokerage". I got them on the phone and went through it; they saw the login happening and didn't see any problems on their end. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Mike |
