Michael,

I'm having the same problem and my information is the same as Bruce's
(same version number, same first five digits of serial number, and
also purchased form Amazon online). Any new info on this?
Thanks,

Jim

Hi Bruce -
Help about provides a version number, which would help. We'd also like to
know from where you got this.

Thanks

The serial number begins "78508-"

As for the sku, you'll have to tell me what that is first. It's Money 2007
Premium if that helps.

Thanks Michael.

MS wants more info, Bruce - trying to find out whether the issue is with a
specific sku or a broader problem. Could you post the first 5 digits of the
serial number and which sku you purchased?

Thanks,

I sure hope that's a different group based on what "issues" get reported as
"features" here in Money.

I hope so. With anyone with a scheduled contribution to a retirement
account, the budget and lifetime planner features are useless.

Don't let them ask the question if they won't be able to stand the answer?

That's a creative way for Microsoft to not get bug reports.

You think a bug reporter should report bugs? Hmm.

Drat. I'm already having trouble reporting the bug due to the Product ID,
PID. The support page installed an ActiveX component to automattically
detect the PID, but it reports:

"We could not find your product ID number automatically. Please enter a
product ID number below."

So I manually entered the Serial Number (the only id on the About Money
dialog) and now it says:

"The product ID number you entered is not valid or is not in the correct
format. Please enter a valid product ID number and try again. Make sure the
product ID number is of the form: 12345-XXX-7654321-98765"

I am entering it correctly and in that format. This is for Money 2007.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks,
Bruce.
