| Because bills post at slightly variable dates, I post them 3 days in advance. That accounts for variability on weekends. If you don't have the online settings set to update the posting date, (I don't) you can adjust it manually when it matches, or leave it as is. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL "Michael Gordon, MVP" <gordonm[at]denison.edu> wrote in message news:uP24yeMuGHA.4472[at]TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... - quote - > Try this, Jake -setup the bill as "direct debit" (so it will > automatically be entered into whatever account you're using and set > "automatically enter transaction" as 0; the charge will appear in your > account on the appropriate date and the download should match with this > entry. | Try this, Jake -setup the bill as "direct debit" (so it will automatically be entered into whatever account you're using and set "automatically enter transaction" as 0; the charge will appear in your account on the appropriate date and the download should match with this entry. Because the amount may vary, you may be asked to confirm the match. -- Michael Gordon MVP "Jake" <pleasenospam[at]nospamplease1.com> wrote in message news:10F44276-9511-46AA-ABA2-24E1486FAAD4[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I've upgraded from Money 2005 to Money 2007, and I've never had any luck > with > the following problem. | I’ve upgraded from Money 2005 to Money 2007, and I’ve never had any luck with the following problem. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. I’ve setup an advanced bill named Cingular, and I’ve entered that the amount varies each month. My credit card company automatically downloads my transactions into Money. I would like to just to click on the downloaded Cingular transaction and click Accept and have Money recognize that this is my Cingular bill. But instead, in my Bills section it shows this bill as unpaid. I’m a software developer and this seems extremely simple, and I’m frustrated this does not work. Am I missing something? I’ve asked this question on the forums a couple years ago and all the responses were that they had the same problem and they just re-entered their bill manually and then Money would recognize it. But come on, re-enter the transaction? Thanks, Jake |
