I found that auto complete was turned off on my Money 2007 even though it was on in my Money 2006. Steve |

Autocomplete is on. It should be on, correct?> Money 2006. Well, 2007 settings didn't have it. Reviewed the settings in the tools drop down and there it was. Easy to fix, but VERY frustrating that Money does this to long time users. Steve |

| Neal, Are you hitting Enter OR Tab after entering the payee? When I hit Tab, it enters the category. When I hit Enter, it does not. If that is the case, then you can change that behavior by putting a check in the "Use Enter key to move between fields" in the Global Settings. This is a user preference. However, just clicking in the category field should be the same as hitting the Tab key. neal.wilkinson[at]gmail.com wrote: - quote - > Anyone know of a piece of software that will do this? |

They aren't new payee's. That's the way I would have thought it would> link the transaction to. On future transactions using that payee, Money > will automatically assign the category. Of course, you can always > change the category on the transaction if it doesn't apply. Steve have worked as well. The same payee's which fill in the category automatically when downloading from the bank do not do so when manually adding a transaction. Any ideas? |

On future transactions using that payee, Money will automatically assign the category. Of course, you can always change the category on the transaction if it doesn't apply. Steve |

| Is it normal behavior to have to manually add the category when adding a transaction manually? If I let the transaction download from the bank it will add it automatically but I'd like to put my transactions in as I go but not have to go add the category, I'd like it to fill in automatically. Thanks |
