| Do as Chris said. ..09 times 144.31 equals 12.9879 So, either you got slightly more than .09 shares, or your broker charged you more than $144.31 -Mark "Chris Cowles" <spam_magnet[at]remove-me-bellsouth.net> wrote in message news:u4XpX9BtGHA.4420[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > Your broker probably is recording qty and price to several more decimal > places than they display on statements or their web page. | Your broker probably is recording qty and price to several more decimal places than they display on statements or their web page. Buy the shares by qty and total cost. Let Money figure out the price. It will differ slightly but should be insignificant. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL <johnmohlengraft[at]gmail.com> wrote in message news:1154293028.935316.298140[at]h48g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I just started contributing to my 401k and MSMoney disagrees with my > 401k statement. > Sample line for a Buy... > I bought .09 shares at $144.31 per share... > My statement says I paid $13.04, no commisions > MSMoney 02 says I paid $12.99 (or I can manually change the total and > it puts the difference into the commision line) > I have 3 "Buys" that are off like this one and 5 that are correct. | I just started contributing to my 401k and MSMoney disagrees with my 401k statement. Sample line for a Buy... I bought .09 shares at $144.31 per share... My statement says I paid $13.04, no commisions MSMoney 02 says I paid $12.99 (or I can manually change the total and it puts the difference into the commision line) I have 3 "Buys" that are off like this one and 5 that are correct. How do I straighten this out? |
