The "Starting Balance" or "Total amount you owed last month" would be that number. Then click Cancel. |

I actually balance my bank account every two or three days by going online and comparing the transactions that have cleared against the ones in my register. Ace Money would actually show what it called the "reconciled total" at the bottom of the register. This was would match the total from the register from my online bank register and would let me see in a glance if I had made a mistake. I found this very handy.
