| Update I managed to use the File menu to cleanly close Money cleanly. Every time re-opened Money I had to click the error button 32 times, then after the UI refreshed anotehr 32 times. I went to the settings to look for a problem. I reviewed all settings, and when I got to the budget Money reported my budget was corrupt, and I created a new budget when prompted. I then went to the budget settings and deleted the two old budgets that were listed. Now Money seems to be ok. I have been trying to fix my budget problems for a long time, I could never switch from essential to advacned budget, and I tried all suggestions from this group and the MVPs archive. I hope that Money uncorrupted itself for good... | I just installed 2007 Premium (purchased from Microsoft after seeing the ad in 2006 and downloaded at the Digital River store). I first uninstalled 2006, then installed 2007. I opened my 2006 file and let the 2007 upgrade continue, once the upgrade completed, I got two error dialogs, different colors, slightly on top of each other, one asking if I'm already connected to the internet, and another saying this operation can not be performed. I clicked yes for the connected to the internet question, and no matter how I clicked the other ok button, another one just popped up again, I must have clicked it near 20 times before it went away. If I click the more info link I get this: Event ID: obres:34 Source: 16.0 While writing this I just had to click it another bunch of times. The Money UI shows in the taskbar, but is unresponsive to any clicks, it just beeps if I click anywhere, and Money is not showing in alt-tab list. Terminate the process or wait? Regards Pieter |
