The other problem is the site has no info at all about the features in
the new version of cash orgainzer.

It does sync fast, and it is very solid. However without forum and
without support it's hard to get some things done. E.g. I never figured
out a way to sync transactions in Planner to Money's Bills - I assume
there isn't one. I hope they are working on Money 2007 sync for
CO2007, otherwise I will be pushed to Spb Finance (that has a nice
forum and responsive support, but I still think CO is more robust).

I'm sure Inesoft was working on their other products so CO '06 probably was
pushed back. I haven't run into any problems either, but support has
answered questions when asked (In fact, when asked I found out that it does
not work with 2007. Bummer). There haven't been many questions because
it's pretty solid and as far as I'm concerned and better than SPB Finance,
although theirs now works with Money 2007 so maybe there is something to look
at there afterall. It's been on my Axim for about a year now and that's how
much data I sync between 29 accounts, speed is incredible for that much data.

Don't know of any forums either.

I completely agree with you - CO needs to sync budgets and Planner
bills, it's just too much work to enter them in two different programs.
Unfortunately I found CO support lacking when it comes to answering
questions - none of mine got answered. There's no User Forum that I
know of either (do you know of one ?) I didn't have a problem yet so I
don't know how they handle them.

They were supposed to release a new version in April but it's July and
they must be scratching their heads in wonder, looking at MSM2007.

Regardless, none of these issues take away the fact that CO is very
useful and reliable, and it actually syncs to MSM2006, so kudos to them.

Instead of being part of MS Office organization, where it belongs by
definition, Money is part of MSN web services instead. It's driven by
marketing & ad revenue & # of clicks per ad and similar metrics. I
don't recall a single asked-for feature added, and quite a few of them
were removed - like Cash Flow Forecast disappeared from Standard
beginning with one of the previous versions.

Money for PPC never changed since 03. They are obviously not interested
in this one either.

Try Cash Organizer at www.inesoft.com, it's $25 and no investment
support (none of the 3rd party ppc money apps have it afaik) but it has
a nice reporting & forecast, and it syncs with Money well.
