| Well it worked. I informed MS support because they were clueless. I was not able to delete the budget tracker. However following your instructions 2007 required me to change the budget tracker settings. Which in case solved my problem. I do believe this is a serious bug that needs to be repaired. Somebody could lose all of their data if they are not careful. Once again thank you, and I hope this thread helps somebody else. -- Wayne Miller "Tresslyn" wrote: - quote - > Thanks, I figured it had todo with something like this. Data not matching. | OK that worked. I also let ms support group know. They were clueless. I was unable to remove the budget tracker. However going to the settings you suggested made me change the budget tracker which solved the problem. I still think this is a serious bug that should be fixed. I could see somebody losing all of their data if they were not careful. Once again thank you very much. I hope this thread helps others as well. -- Wayne Miller Pecan Deluxe Candy Company "SteveC" wrote: - quote - > Well, after downloading my accounts a couple of times, I have discovered one > new thing. Try Tools-> Settings-> HomePageDisplaySettings. Select SpendingTracker on the right, and click Remove, and then Done. Let us know if that changed things. |

| I have not been able to convert my 2006 deluxe files to 2007 deluxe. I constantly receive an event id error. Details Event ID: obres:34 Source: 16.0 We're sorry There is no additional information about this issue in the Error and Event Log Messages or Knowledge Base databases at this time. You can use the links in the Support area to determine whether any additional information might be available elsewhere. I have been on the phone with microsoft for the last two day. I wished I was able to debug the event a little better to help the ms support group get this fixed. I think 2007 uses a different library? At this point I am rebuilding my 2006 file once again. I have not tried upgrading from the 2007 trial version. It was a straight purchase. At this point all I can say is that I am not happy with 2007 at all. -- Wayne Miller "SteveC" wrote: - quote - > Well, after downloading my accounts a couple of times, I have discovered one > new thing. | Well, after downloading my accounts a couple of times, I have discovered one new thing. My investment accounts would always indicate another statement even if it were the same statement as before. I would accept the positions updates. Now, it correctly says that I have no new statements if I redownload over the weekend or on days when the market was closed. Is that worth the new version? LOL. I don't think it is any faster, though the account downloads seem faster so far, but I haven't done enough of them to be definitive on that. I have only played with the new budget thingy and decided for now to keep my present budget. I suggest you save your present budget in case you want to go back to it. I haven't told my wife I updated. I doubt she will notice unless the 2007 moniker has any meaning for her. |
