| I just thought I would update everyone for those trying to use MS Money with Bill Pay. I have 2007 and it was HORRIBLE trying to get support to integrate this account. During the setup Money asked for special account numbers and when talking with support they had no clue about this - called and talked with 5 different people. I dug around on this newsgroup and microsoft KB's and found conflicting stories everywhere. You don't need a special subscripber ID contrary to their own KB article : http://www.kbalertz.com/kb_926230.aspx This is what finally worked: 1. Setup MSN Bill Pay account via the web 2. Wait for the 2 test account charges to be created, then confirm the checking/savings account via the MSN Bill pay website. 3. Create the Bill Pay account in Money using the SAME login/password combo that you use on the website (read: no special info required - at least when I did this 01-03-2007) 4. Voila Hope this helps some of you not to struggle through what I experienced. | I had the same problem also. They don't reset the pin over the phone anymore but they now send out a letter with a new pin. You can call 1877-800-4873 and select option 4. Ask for the same info Ben meantioned and they will send a letter to your current address on file. | Thanks for the info. This resolved my issue and I can now use billpay. | I managed to determine my special account number and connect to MSN Bill pay. Now the problem is that the option to match the MSN Bill Pay Checking to an existing account is greyed out. Has anyone else experienced this? My MNY file does contain an account with the same number as the one already setup on MSN Bill Pay. Background information: I've never had problems with Money and MSN Bill pay. I guess I was one of those folks who was grandfathered in. The reason I'm doing all of this work is that I want to use a different checking account on MSN Billpay. I tried this with Money 2006, but the best it could do is create a standalone MSN Billpay checking account in my MNY file - it would not "link" to my actual checking account. In many ways, Money 2007 is doing the same thing. | You apparently got someone new -- don't know the exact number I called, didn't save it. I called MS Money support, they gave me a phone number for Checkfree Money support -- they're the ones that gave me my (already exisiting) account number. If you've never used MS Money Billpay or MSN Billpay, then, you wouldn't yet have an account number and would need to sign up for it first -- you'll receive your account number and configuration info in the mail, as I did years ago. Since then, it stopped working with MS Money and became hitched with Passport/MSN Money Billpay... now it works again with MS Money, re-introduced and a 'new' feature ![]() If you need to know more, sorry, you'll have to deal with MS Support as that's all I know... | Did you try your SSN and the password you use on the MSN Bill Pay website? If that doesn't work, I would call CheckFree again, and if you get the same answer, talk to a supervisor. They DO support adding Bill Pay in Money 2007. -Mark "Ken" <dustbunny[at]discussions.msn.com> wrote in message news:%23HBRfvltGHA.4336[at]TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... - quote - > What number did you call and who did you talk to?
