Backing up to a USB flash drive works for me. Try a different USB
flash drive perhaps.

When you plug your USB flash drive in, does it show up in My
Computer? When you right-click and choose Properties, does it say
Type:Removable?

In Tools-> Options-> Backup in the Floppy section, is that USB flash
drive listed in the [second] drop-down list?

Default backup options in money 2004

I would like an option to backup to a cd/dvd or preferably a flashdrive, but
2004 only lets me use floppies. Is there anyway to modify backup options in
2004? I only use the check book, my investments, budgets, etc are handled by
an outside firm.
