There was a string of that symptom a while back. Since there are few
updates to Money 2004, except bank/FI setup info, these days, there
should be no noticeable effect.

Thanks, I have no problem ignoring it as long as I know it really makes no
difference to my data and there really is no true error.

BTW, I called Microsoft tech support about it and they had no idea what the
problem was and never heard of it.

There is little downside other than seeing the message. If you
download Money Updates again right away, the error message typically
goes away. You could choose ignore the error message.

Default Money Error

After downloading files & getting updates from Money 2004 I sometimes get an
error message which shows up in "read call summary messages". Under the
Money updates it says "Your last call encountered an error:7/19/2006 12:02
am" and also shows Money encountered an error processing the download file
('SMRTINET.INI')."

I am getting both message even though I have tried doing updates (and have
gotten updates) since the date/time shown. I do not know if I am
experiencing a problem or these are bogus error messages.

Anyone have information to share on this?
