Let me try a better answer.

You say you got repaid in cash that you don't deposit.

If you withdraw cash from an ATM, how do you categorize that? Categorize
this the same way.

If you create such an account, a cash account would seem to be the
appropriate type.

There is more than one way to do non-scheduled loan tracking. Here
is a different idea.

Create a cash account.

Create an Expense category for Personal Loan, and make a subcategory
for each friend you loan to. Enter an expense to Personal Loan:Fred
when you loan Fred money. If/when Fred pays you back, enter a
payment, but use that Personal Loan:Fred category. Expect a warning
that you are using an expense category for income.

Go to the "Transactions by category" report and customize to select
all versions of Category Personal Loan, and to set the Date for all
dates. Save it as a favorite. Then check that report, and you can
get the balance for each friend, plus a list of transactions for
each.

Modify the customization whenever you add a new
subcategory/borrower.

If the account is just for loans, let the value go negative when you
make a loan. When the account goes to $0, all has been paid back. If
you use it for other things, consider transferring the money to that
account from Checking etc when appropriate.

I have had some transactions I don't knoe how to manage in Money 06. I have
usually lend some bucks to the friends for short teerm and obviously without
any interest. I'd like to register these in Money 06. How to do?

I have created a formula but I'm not sure about it. Is the following:

1 - create a checking account normal;
2 - create a bank account for such loan;
3 - transfer money from checking to loan account when I lend to;
4 - but when he pays me in cash and I don't deposit it in the bank.
5 - my question is ... how to finalize such debit with my friend?
