Default how to input future income for projecting cash flow

I want to input future income and expenses to calculate cash flow, but do not
want the planned receipts to show as "booked" on my account register, which
is the only way I have been able to do so to this point. Where would I input
income (ie recurring wages&salaries).

Thanks for any help that you can offer.

Regards

JimB
