Sorry Jer, I'm just trying to picture what you're doing ...
1.You downloaded the free trial from the website.
Did you choose to "save" or "run" online ?
2. If you save the file, is THAT what's on the CD ?
You burned a CD ?
3 Either way you get the same error :
mnymetal.dll error code: 0x00000485

If so may just be bad download.
If not what happened - just give us a brief summary
If you mean that AFTER you tried to install the download and it failed,
you then went and BOUGHT Money at a store and STILL have the same
problem, there's probably a bad / "old copy" of that file still in your
temp files - from the failed install. Do a search of your entire PC for
' mny*.*. ' DO you see a folder with a lot of the files - including
that one ? Look at where it finds all these files - maybe in
C:\Windows\temp, or C:\PrgFiles\Common Files\... but lets says they're
all in C:\Doc+Settings\Jer\temp. Fine Open that folder and delete
everything. Reboot and try it again.
There are also programs out there that will do this automatically or
only when you choose to do so. Go to cnet.com and browse. On this PC I
have CCleaner = " Crap Cleaner". It has LOTS of options, so check them
before you run it to make sure it only deletes what you want.. I
right-click on recycle bin and in addiotion to"empty" I can OPEN
ccleaner (to set options) or RUN ccleaner to "do what is selected".
