I'll try that, thanks! Will there be any difference in the data I get from
the bank?

I am having the same issue with Money 2005 (US), but I found a work around.
Do not download the file in OFX format, but use the Quicken format QIF. Money
will import this file without issue.

Thanks for the reply!

Yea, I've got the update installed, and checked out the OFX files (I've got
more than one, from different banks too).

It seems to me Money is having a problem parsing the files. The first time
you try to do it after reinstalling it takes longer to attempt the import.
After that first try it fails more or less instantly.

I'd be greatful if you have any more suggestions for me to try!

Thanks

Jules

Have you tried running the OFX analyzer on the OFX, to check it is valid,
and do you have the 1105 update (look at help and check the version number).

Default Money 2005 (UK) on Vista - Can't import OFX

Hi All,

Has anyone else had any problems importing OFX files from HSBC into Money
2005 (UK) running on Windows Vista Beta 2?

I've run Money as Administrator to update it, and I've tried importing as
both the Administrator and normal user. No joy! It seems to think the file
is to blame, but I'm not too sure!

Any ideas? Sorry if it's been answered recently, I couldn't find this exact
problem.

Jules
