| No. But you're on the right track. What Chris replied, restated: http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=14. "J. On the same tab, create an offsetting entry as a negative amount (trust me) categorized as 'income: employer 401k contributions' or something similarly appropriate. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| Hi, I have set up a separate account for my employer's matching contributions to my 401(k). However, now I have a negative amount account listed under "Bank", which throws of my total. Is there any way to resolve the employee matching contribution without this becoming a problem? I suppose one option would be to add the amount to the gross salary and to the pre-tax contributions. Is that the best way to do that? Thanks, JD |
