Default Re: Sending reports

Thanks, Bob, but when I open the attachment myself (ie in Notepad) it shows
exactly the same as it does on his computer. Since Notepad itself doesn't
format figures/dates etc, I was wondering if there were some settings I
should change to alter the way Money exports this report. I'm not aware of
any currencies that have 4 decimal places, so I can't imagine why Money
would write the software to export in this way.

I think it may be caused by his Control Panel > Regional settings - he
should try changing his settings to match yours. There are no settings in

I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for.

Default Sending reports

After customising the settings for Account Transactions, I then wish to send
them to a friend via email. I click on Send and then Mail Recipient and it
all works fine.

However, the amounts are displayed on my screen (within Money) with 2
decimal places, but the amounts on his computer (in Notepad) are shown with
4; ie £20 shows in Money as 20.00 but in Notepad as 20.0000.

Interestingly, the dates headings are show as 'Month ended dd/mm/yyyy' but
individual transaction dates are in the format yyyy-mm-dd.

Are there some settings within Money I need to change for this to work
slightly more professionally?

This aside, I'm delighted with how Money sends the report - with the
possible exception that the number column is extended to fit headings (when
the report is sent, not within Money or when printed), meaning the report is
very wide, with nothing much on the left!

Please help.
